A concept plan was created for Britton-Macon School System. Ecological educational landscapes were developed using natural landscape design, outdoor classroom development, rain gardens, and native Michigan habitats for the Britton-Macon Area Schools. This provides on-site storm water treatment, reduced maintenance, and management that will give students hands-on experience. These landscape elements e.g. rain gardens perform necessary functions to maintain water quality.
